We wanted to let you know about this exciting project Sonic Landscapes of Colour. Somin, a 23 year old mixed-heritage English-Indian sound artist who was born and grew up in Exeter, Devon is currently looking for 10 young POC to interview and 5 ‘non-western’ traditional instrumentalists based in Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall for her project Sonic Landscapes of Colour.

The names Thomas Lewis Johnson, Robert Wedderburn, Belle Davis, Lilian Bader or John Stockley might not be familiar yet but their lives, and the lives of other key figures, are well worth knowing about.
