‘Planet Earth Needs Our Help’ is sending out an SOS to all Primary schools to take part in a creative exhibition in November (Actions Speak Louder), coinciding with the COP26 Climate Summit.

Where:  The Gallery Upstairs (above the Tearooms) – Upton Country Park, Poole BH17 7BJ

When: Friday 26 – Monday 29 November 2021

‘Planet Earth Needs Our Help’ is organising a global creative challenge for schools, children and their families to imagine they are ‘Universal First Aiders’ who have received an SOS distress call from the Planet Earth. They are asked to research the impact of climate change on our planet and its inhabitants and to come up with creative, science-based solutions.

Participants are invited to present creative solutions using Art, Music, Storytelling, Poetry, Songs, Drama, Dance, etc. It is non-prescriptive and person-centred, designed to enable a diverse and multi-ethnic, global approach. The challenge continues up to the COP26 in November 2021. The project offers opportunities for public engagement at community events, and work with schools and libraries; this will be my focus for local events in Dorset, UK.
