We are looking for new Trustees

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation to engage with global issues? Do you believe we should prepare them to face the challenges posed by sustainability and global citizenship?

We are looking for new Trustees to join our small, dynamic team in developing initiatives for inspiring young people and their educators to engage proactively with the challenges of living in today’s global society.

We are a charity managed by a Board of Trustees who are at the heart of what we do. We use their skills and experience to advise, support and develop new initiatives to add value to our work with schools and communities across Dorset and parts of Hampshire.

We welcome all applications but at present are looking in particular for Trustees with skills and experience in:

  • Human Resources

  • Fundraising, especially in applying to Trusts and Foundations

  • The education sector - schools, Multi Academy Trusts, FE and HE

We simply ask you to share your ideas and expertise with us, commit to joining our bi-monthly early evening meetings (which take place via zoom) and attend our AGM. The role is voluntary, but we reimburse expenses.

Interested in finding out more about how you could help us to really make a difference? Contact Sarah or Louise for a chat at info@deed.org.uk

I’m a web designer and I love creating beautiful, affordable websites that work hard for small businesses. Simply put, a business needs a website to reach more customers. It needs to look good but it also needs to work hard. That’s where I can help, I build cost-effective, good looking websites that are both mobile and google friendly.
