FAO Sustainability Leaders in schools across Dorset & Hampshire

Do you want to deliver more sustainability and climate education in your school? Are you struggling to know where to start? Are you looking for a space to easily meet, share ideas and plan together?

In fact, what is the Climate and Ecological Emergency? What can be done and what’s happening locally? How do we engage positively and empower children to feel they CAN make a positive difference as global citizens?

DEED would like to offer you in-school support for individual staff members and groups working together on these big global issues.

We want to share hope-filled ideas, resources, activities and ways we can all engage with the current crisis that help us feel less anxious, overwhelmed and unsure of how to make a difference.

From swapping out single-use plastic and composting food waste to planting pollinator-friendly gardens and growing food naturally, we will draw on our local expertise in global learning to help you identify the best resources, projects and content to excite and engage pupils.

Linking with your community and specific to your school we will work with you to explore and develop activities that connect to the bigger picture and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through collaboration, we can support school-wide curriculum planning to bring multiple perspectives and global learning into the classroom.

Caroline Tennent

I’m a web designer and I love creating beautiful, affordable websites that work hard for small businesses. Simply put, a business needs a website to reach more customers. It needs to look good but it also needs to work hard. That’s where I can help, I build cost-effective, good looking websites that are both mobile and google friendly.
