Pauline Stirling, one of our trustees, has entered the Southampton Marathon

The marathon takes place on the 6th of April and is in aid of St Catherine’s School! Pauline started running 3 years ago, at the age of 58, with Couch to 5K. She now runs about 25 miles each week! She enjoys races – on and off-road, track and hills. But this will be her first marathon.

St Catherine's is the only day and residential education and therapy provider in the UK specialising in working with children, young people and young adults (aged 9 to 25) who have speech, language and communication needs. They provide an integrated programme tailored to each student incorporating speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan that states they have a significant language disorder.

St Catherine's is a registered charity who have just celebrated 40 years, it's the small charity with a big heart. They are raising funds for a much-needed outdoor education area.If you would like more information, please see their website.
