Celebrate International Day of Education with these online events by Reboot the Future

Monday 24th January 4.30 pm - 6.30 pm

How often do we give ourselves permission to pause and reconnect with ourselves and the values which drive us? How can we help our students to prioritise their wellbeing and the wellbeing of our planet if we’re not doing the same?

Join Reboot the Future and Our Shared World on International Day of Education for a conversation to connect with yourself, those around you, and the natural world. Come away re-energised, reinvigorated, and ready to inspire your students and colleagues to take action for a more compassionate and sustainable future.

With an introduction from Lord Jim Knight, sponsor of the Education (Environment and Sustainable Citizenship) Bill, on the importance of centering care for oneself, others and the natural environment in our Citizenship curriculum.

Thursday 27th January 5 pm - 6 pm

Our world is changing, new challenges and opportunities are opening up, and the skills that young people will need in the workforce are evolving.

Join Headteacher Jane Lunnon, youth representatives Yumna Hussen and Jalidah Nabukalu, and experts from Pearson and Unilever to hear about how educators can equip young people for the future workplace.

The speakers will discuss what skills will be in most demand, and what skills young people want to see prioritised, as we all come together to build a more equal, compassionate and sustainable future. Reconnecting with ourselves, others and the planet
