Is your school prepared?

Did you know that the Department for Education Policy Paper 2022 - Sustainability and Climate Change states that ‘By 2025 all education settings will have a designated sustainability lead and a climate action plan’.

Is your school prepared for this? If your school needs help to navigate a way through the resources and support that is out there then please get in touch. We can help your school to create a Climate Action Plan, direct you to free and great resources, both online and in person, and support your teachers to feel more empowered about becoming sustainability leads.

DEED can offer your school/academy an input at a staff meeting or come along as part of a staff training day to support your team with their journey to becoming more sustainable.

Please contact Sarah at DEED to find out more: training@deed.org.uk

This is a service we do need to charge for - prices start at £150 for a staff meeting input.

“Your input today was so useful! Thank you, it got my ideas flowing and I feel very ready to write my plan.”

Headteacher, Sarum-St-Pauls Primary, Salisbury

“Thank you so much to Sarah for all your support, enthusiasm, super ideas and resources. We want our planning to continue to embrace the notion that actions taken in our local community can impact our global community due to our interconnectedness and interdependence.”

Jo and Polly, teachers at Mudeford Junior School, Christchurch.
