Dorset Race Equality Council (DREC) seeks a Chief Officer on a permanent basis. However, a long-term secondment may be considered. Salary between £30,000 and £34,538.
Dorset REC works across Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole to challenge racism and achieve a fairer and just society. The Chief Officer (CO) leads the work to liaise with the different groups, public bodies and minority ethnic communities. The CO reports to the Chair of Trustees and is responsible for implementing the strategy and aims of Dorset REC. The role involves fundraising, training, public speaking, managing a small team and supporting casework.
